here. Usually the GitHub Desktop application is installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GitHubDesktop folder, depending on the user's option during install. The entire uninstall command line for GitHub Desktop is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GitHubDesktop\Update.exe. GitHubDesktop.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 391.84 KB (401240 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
GitHub Desktop is an application by GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to remove this application. This is difficult because removing this manually requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to remove GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

- download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.
3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop application will be found very quickly. After you click GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GitHub Desktop.

8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
