A guide to uninstall CMake from your computer

The executable files below are installed together with CMake. They occupy about 64.37 MB (67499904 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete CMake with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program marketed by Kitware. Some computer users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search field and type in "CMake". The CMake application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click CMake in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The publisher is: https://cmake.org
  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{722A9BB7-28B0-44CE-BD6C-CE9FD7360420}
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall CMake.

8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
