How to remove CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program released by Kitware. Some computer users decide to uninstall this program. This is difficult because removing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CMake or simply click the Search feature and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click CMake in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CMake.


8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
