How to delete CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program released by the software company Kitware. Sometimes, users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY practice to uninstall CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search field and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake program will be found very quickly. After you select CMake in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove CMake.

8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
