A way to uninstall CMake from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application by Kitware. Some people want to remove this application. 3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply click the Search feature and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake app will be found automatically. After you select CMake in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMake.

All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
