A way to uninstall CMake from your computer

CMake is a computer program. Keep in mind that this location can vary depending on the user's decision. CMake's entire uninstall command line is MsiExec.exe /X{4483B376-B15E-47C6-ADA8-B0F2BCFB300A}. cmake.exe is the CMake's main executable file and it takes close to 8.08 MB (8475792 bytes) on disk.

CMake is composed of the following executables which take 44.49 MB (46654672 bytes) on disk:

How to erase CMake from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application by Kitware. Frequently, computer users try to remove this application. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CMake or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select CMake in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CMake:

• The publisher is: https://cmake.org
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{4483B376-B15E-47C6-ADA8-B0F2BCFB300A}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMake.


8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
