A way to uninstall CMake from your PC

CMake is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Kitware. Check out here for more info on Kitware. Please open if you want to read more on CMake on Kitware's web page. CMake is usually set up in the C:\Program Files\CMake folder, depending on the user's option. CMake's full uninstall command line is MsiExec.exe /X{04063BFE-2D52-4AA6-8859-50483544E7DE}. CMake's primary file takes around 9.03 MB (9472608 bytes) and is named cmake.exe.

CMake contains of the executables below. They take 49.15 MB (51533792 bytes) on disk.

How to remove CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program by the software company Kitware. Frequently, people choose to uninstall it. This is troublesome because doing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK solution to uninstall CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply click the Search field and type in "CMake". If it is installed on your PC the CMake program will be found automatically. When you click CMake in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMake.

8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
