How to uninstall CMake from your computer

The following executable files are contained in CMake. They take 49.15 MB (51537376 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete CMake from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program released by the software company Kitware. Some people decide to erase this program. This is hard because doing this manually requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CMake or simply click the Search field and type in "CMake". If it is installed on your PC the CMake program will be found very quickly. When you click CMake in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CMake.

8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
