A way to uninstall CMake from your system

CMake contains of the executables below. They occupy 51.54 MB (54048672 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall CMake:

A way to delete CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application released by Kitware. Some users choose to erase it. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search field and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select CMake in the list of applications, the following data about the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove CMake.

8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
