How to uninstall CMake from your PC

How to uninstall CMake from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application by Kitware. Frequently, users choose to remove this application. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply click the Search feature and type in "CMake". The CMake application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click CMake in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall CMake.

8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
