A way to remove CMake from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
CMake is an application by the software company Kitware. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY manner to remove CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

- download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.
3. Press the General Tools category
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button
5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search field and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select CMake in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is available to you:
- Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMake.
8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
