A way to delete CMake from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application offered by the software company Kitware. Some computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE practice to erase CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search field and type in "CMake". If it exists on your system the CMake app will be found automatically. After you click CMake in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CMake.

8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
