A way to uninstall GNS3 from your system

GNS3 is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by GNS3 Technology Inc.. You can find out more on GNS3 Technology Inc. or check for application updates here. Please open http://www.gns3.com if you want to read more on GNS3 on GNS3 Technology Inc.'s page. GNS3 is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files\GNS3 folder, depending on the user's option. GNS3's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe. gns3.exe is the GNS3's main executable file and it takes close to 381.50 KB (390656 bytes) on disk.

Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove GNS3.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall GNS3 from your PC:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\GNS3

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall GNS3:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\GNS3\gns3_gui.ini
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\GNS3\gns3_gui.log
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\GNS3\gns3_gui.pid
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\GNS3\gns3_server.ini

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gns3
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GNS3

How to uninstall GNS3 from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is a program by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Some computer users decide to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this manually requires some skill regarding PCs. • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate GNS3 or simply click the Search field and type in "GNS3". The GNS3 application will be found automatically. After you select GNS3 in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding GNS3, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GNS3:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GNS3.


8. After uninstalling GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GNS3 that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
