A way to uninstall GNS3 from your PC

GNS3 is a software application. Many files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you remove GNS3 from your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gns3
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GNS3

How to remove GNS3 from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is an application released by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. 6. Scroll the list of programs until you find GNS3 or simply activate the Search field and type in "GNS3". If it exists on your system the GNS3 application will be found automatically. After you select GNS3 in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding GNS3, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove GNS3.


8. After removing GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GNS3 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
