A guide to uninstall GNS3 from your computer

GNS3 is a computer program. If you are manually uninstalling GNS3 we recommend you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall GNS3:

How to remove GNS3 from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is a program offered by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Frequently, computer users decide to erase it. This can be troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate GNS3 or simply click the Search field and type in "GNS3". If it is installed on your PC the GNS3 application will be found very quickly. When you select GNS3 in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding GNS3, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GNS3:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GNS3.


8. After removing GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GNS3 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
