A way to uninstall GNS3 from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is an application by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Sometimes, people try to remove it. This is hard because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY procedure to remove GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate GNS3 or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GNS3". If it exists on your system the GNS3 application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select GNS3 in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about GNS3, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GNS3.


8. After uninstalling GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing GNS3 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
