A way to uninstall GNS3 from your computer

A way to erase GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is an application offered by GNS3 Technology Inc.. Frequently, users decide to uninstall it. This is hard because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY solution to uninstall GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate GNS3 or simply click the Search field and type in "GNS3". The GNS3 app will be found very quickly. After you click GNS3 in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about GNS3, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The publisher is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GNS3.


8. After uninstalling GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of GNS3 that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
