A guide to uninstall GNS3 from your PC

GNS3 is a computer program. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for administrator rights. GNS3's main file takes around 381.00 KB (390144 bytes) and its name is gns3.exe.

When you're planning to uninstall GNS3 you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Generally the following registry data will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gns3
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GNS3

A way to remove GNS3 from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is an application by GNS3 Technology Inc.. Some users decide to uninstall it. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GNS3 or simply click the Search feature and type in "GNS3". If it exists on your system the GNS3 program will be found very quickly. When you select GNS3 in the list of apps, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about GNS3, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GNS3.


8. After removing GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
