How to uninstall GNS3 from your PC

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is called gns3.exe and it has a size of 377.00 KB (386048 bytes).

A way to uninstall GNS3 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is a program by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Sometimes, people try to remove it. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK action to remove GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GNS3 or simply click the Search field and type in "GNS3". If it exists on your system the GNS3 program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click GNS3 in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding GNS3, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The publisher is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GNS3.


8. After removing GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
