A guide to uninstall GNS3 from your computer

How to erase GNS3 from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is an application offered by GNS3 Technology Inc.. Some users decide to remove this application. This is hard because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY way to remove GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GNS3 or simply click the Search feature and type in "GNS3". The GNS3 application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click GNS3 in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding GNS3, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GNS3:

• The software company is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove GNS3.


8. After uninstalling GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong GNS3 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
