A guide to uninstall GNS3 from your system

Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. GNS3's main file takes around 377.00 KB (386048 bytes) and is named gns3.exe.

A way to delete GNS3 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GNS3 is a program by the software company GNS3 Technology Inc.. Frequently, people decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this is difficult because removing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall GNS3 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find GNS3 or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GNS3". If it exists on your system the GNS3 program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click GNS3 in the list of programs, the following data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about GNS3, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GNS3:

• The software company is: http://www.gns3.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GNS3\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GNS3.


8. After removing GNS3, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GNS3 which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing GNS3 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
