If planning to uninstall VMware Player you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Usually the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

A way to remove VMware Player from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is a program offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY way to remove VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VMware Player in the list , the following data about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Player.

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
