If you are manually uninstalling VMware Player we suggest you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.
Usually the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player

A way to erase VMware Player with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VMware Player is an application offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall it. - set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear
6. Navigate the list of applications until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player application will be found automatically. After you select VMware Player in the list of programs, the following data about the application is shown to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Player.

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
