A way to delete VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application marketed by VMware, Inc.. Frequently, people choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". The VMware Player application will be found very quickly. When you click VMware Player in the list , some data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Player.

8. After uninstalling VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
