Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you are trying to remove VMware Player from your PC.

The files below were left behind on your disk by VMware Player when you uninstall it:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VMware\player.log

Registry that is not removed:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

A way to delete VMware Player from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is a program marketed by VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase it. 6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate VMware Player or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Player".   • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Player.
