Several files, folders and registry entries will be left behind when you remove VMware Player from your computer.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware Player

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
