A way to delete VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is efortful because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VMware Player in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Player.

8. After uninstalling VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
