When you're planning to uninstall VMware Player you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.
Usually, the following files remain on disk:- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VMware\player.log
Registry that is not cleaned:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player

A way to uninstall VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VMware Player is a program by VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to erase it. This is hard because doing this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to erase VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your PC.
DOWNLOAD NOW- go to Download Link
- download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.
3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". The VMware Player app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VMware Player in the list , the following information regarding the program is available to you:
- Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Player.

8. After uninstalling VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
