Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

A way to delete VMware Player from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall it.   • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Player or simply click the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select VMware Player in the list of programs, the following information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VMware Player.
