If you are manually uninstalling VMware Player we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Registry that is not uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\5E3ED7CBF31932F4FA4D12CA13ACA5DF
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{BC7DE3E5-913F-4F23-AFD4-21AC31CA5AFD}
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware Player

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\5E3ED7CBF31932F4FA4D12CA13ACA5DF\ProductName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Windows\Installer\{BC7DE3E5-913F-4F23-AFD4-21AC31CA5AFD}\

How to erase VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is a program offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, users choose to remove it. This is efortful because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK way to remove VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Player or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player app will be found automatically. When you select VMware Player in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove VMware Player.


8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
