The files below were left behind on your disk by VMware Player's application uninstaller when you removed it:

How to uninstall VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application by the software company VMware, Inc.. Frequently, computer users want to uninstall it. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player app will be found automatically. When you click VMware Player in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VMware Player.
