A way to uninstall VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some computer users decide to remove this application. This can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK approach to remove VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VMware Player or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Player". The VMware Player program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select VMware Player in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Player.
