Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you uninstall SourceTree.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\sourcetree
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Atlassian\SourceTree
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SourceTree 1.6.10

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{1EE6F843-C504-469B-991B-AF58235ED254}\InstallSource

How to uninstall SourceTree from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SourceTree.


8. After removing SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
