A guide to uninstall SourceTree from your computer

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove SourceTree for Windows. The Windows release was developed by Atlassian. More info about Atlassian can be read here. SourceTree is frequently set up in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\SourceTree folder, regulated by the user's choice. The full command line for uninstalling SourceTree is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\SourceTree\Update.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 293.95 KB (301008 bytes) on disk and is titled SourceTree.exe.

A way to delete SourceTree from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program by the software company Atlassian. Some computer users decide to remove it. This is difficult because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK procedure to remove SourceTree is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SourceTree or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". The SourceTree program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select SourceTree in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about SourceTree, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SourceTree.

8. After removing SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SourceTree with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
