How to uninstall SourceTree from your system

SourceTree is a Windows application. How to erase SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program released by Atlassian. Frequently, people try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY solution to uninstall SourceTree is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SourceTree or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". If it is installed on your PC the SourceTree program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click SourceTree in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding SourceTree, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SourceTree:

• The publisher is: http://www.sourcetreeapp.com
• The uninstall string is: msiexec.exe /x {6D006F91-6985-4FCC-87A0-546604926194}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SourceTree.


8. After uninstalling SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SourceTree that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
