When you're planning to uninstall SourceTree you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Popcorn-Time\node_modules\@fortawesome\fontawesome-free\svgs\brands\sourcetree.svg
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Atlassian\Sourcetree.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\sourcetree
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SourceTree
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\SourceTree_RASAPI32
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\SourceTree_RASMANCS

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\SourceTree\app-3.4.16\SourceTree.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\SourceTree\app-3.4.16\SourceTree.exe.FriendlyAppName

A way to delete SourceTree from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program offered by the software company Atlassian. Some users try to erase this program. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SourceTree or simply click the Search field and type in "SourceTree". If it is installed on your PC the SourceTree application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select SourceTree in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding SourceTree, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SourceTree.


8. After uninstalling SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
