How to uninstall SourceTree from your computer

A way to delete SourceTree from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program by Atlassian. Frequently, users try to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because performing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SourceTree or simply click the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". If it is installed on your PC the SourceTree app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SourceTree in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding SourceTree, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SourceTree.


8. After removing SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
