How to uninstall SourceTree from your system

Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. SourceTree.exe is the SourceTree's main executable file and it takes circa 844.78 KB (865056 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove SourceTree with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is a program marketed by the software company Atlassian. Some users try to remove it. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this by hand requires some skill regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove SourceTree is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows computer.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SourceTree or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". If it is installed on your PC the SourceTree application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click SourceTree in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about SourceTree, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SourceTree.

8. After removing SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of SourceTree that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
