After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Carbonite:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Carbonite

Additional values that you should delete:

A way to remove Carbonite from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is a program by Carbonite. Some users choose to uninstall this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Carbonite or simply click the Search field and type in "Carbonite". If it exists on your system the Carbonite application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Carbonite in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Carbonite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Carbonite.


8. After removing Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
