Carbonite is a software application. A way to delete Carbonite from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is an application marketed by the software company Carbonite. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE approach to uninstall Carbonite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Carbonite or simply click the Search field and type in "Carbonite". If it is installed on your PC the Carbonite program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Carbonite in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Carbonite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The publisher is: www.carbonite.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Carbonite.

8. After removing Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Carbonite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
