Carbonite has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders left behind when you uninstall Carbonite:

The files below are left behind on your disk when you remove Carbonite:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Carbonite Backup

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

How to uninstall Carbonite from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Carbonite or simply click the Search feature and type in "Carbonite". If it is installed on your PC the Carbonite program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Carbonite in the list of apps, some information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Carbonite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.

8. After uninstalling Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
