How to uninstall Carbonite from your PC

How to uninstall Carbonite from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is an application offered by Carbonite. Some people decide to erase this program. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase Carbonite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Carbonite or simply activate the Search field and type in "Carbonite". If it is installed on your PC the Carbonite application will be found very quickly. When you click Carbonite in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Carbonite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Carbonite:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Carbonite.


8. After removing Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Carbonite which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Carbonite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
