A way to delete Carbonite from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is a program offered by the software company Carbonite. Sometimes, users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this by hand takes some experience related to PCs. One of the best QUICK approach to erase Carbonite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Carbonite or simply click the Search field and type in "Carbonite". If it exists on your system the Carbonite application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Carbonite in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Carbonite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Carbonite.

8. After uninstalling Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Carbonite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
