How to remove Carbonite from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is an application released by the software company Carbonite. Sometimes, users want to remove this program. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Carbonite or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Carbonite". The Carbonite app will be found automatically. When you click Carbonite in the list , the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Carbonite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Carbonite:

• The web site of the application is: www.carbonite.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Carbonite.


8. After removing Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
