How to erase VMware Tools with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE way to erase VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Tools or simply click the Search feature and type in "VMware Tools". If it exists on your system the VMware Tools application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select VMware Tools in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Tools.

8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
