How to erase VMware Tools with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE way to erase VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.


2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature
Go to Uninstall Programs

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate VMware Tools or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". If it exists on your system the VMware Tools program will be found very quickly. When you select VMware Tools in the list , the following data about the program is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Tools.

8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Tools using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
