How to uninstall VMware Tools from your PC

A way to delete VMware Tools from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is an application marketed by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some people want to erase this application. Take the following steps on how to do this:

  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Tools or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". The VMware Tools app will be found automatically. After you select VMware Tools in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Tools, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall VMware Tools.
