How to delete VMware Tools from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by VMware, Inc.. Some users choose to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because removing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate VMware Tools or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". The VMware Tools program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click VMware Tools in the list of applications, the following information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about VMware Tools, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VMware Tools.
