A way to remove VMware Tools from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is an application released by VMware, Inc.. Some people choose to remove it. This is efortful because removing this manually takes some experience regarding PCs. One of the best EASY practice to remove VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VMware Tools or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". If it exists on your system the VMware Tools program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VMware Tools in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding VMware Tools, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Tools.

8. After uninstalling VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
