Many files, folders and Windows registry entries will not be deleted when you remove VMware Tools from your PC.

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Windows\Installer\{1D060220-2A64-4153-A6F5-C43B95C3BFC7}\VMwareIcon

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\022060D146A235146A5F4CB3593CFB7C
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{1D060220-2A64-4153-A6F5-C43B95C3BFC7}

Additional values that you should clean:

How to remove VMware Tools with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find VMware Tools or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Tools".
