If you're planning to uninstall VMware Tools you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to uninstall VMware Tools from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

After you select VMware Tools in the list of applications, the following information about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Tools.


8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Tools which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
