How to uninstall VMware Tools from your system

A way to remove VMware Tools from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is an application marketed by VMware, Inc.. Some users try to uninstall it. This is difficult because performing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK approach to uninstall VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Tools, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Tools.

8. After uninstalling VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Tools that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
